I've been filming weddings on Maui for more than a decade, from intimate celebrations along the coast to multi-day wedding weekends at some of the island's most beautiful resorts.
My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, with a focus on the people, the atmosphere, and the moments that happen naturally throughout the day. The goal isn't to turn your wedding into a production. It's to make a film that brings you back to what it actually felt like to be there.
From Wailea and Kapalua to the North Shore and beyond, Maui has been a meaningful part of my work for years.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to film weddings at resorts, private estates, and intimate venues throughout Maui. Each setting has its own rhythm, light, and way of moving through a wedding day.
Filming Weddings on Maui
Maui is visually incredible, but the landscape isn't the reason I make wedding films. The people are. The ocean, mountains, lava rock and sunsets give a film its sense of place, but the moments I want to remember are the ones happening between them.
From the golden light in the early evening to the dramatic coastline and lush valleys. Maui offers an incredible range of locations and backdrops. I've filmed everything from intimate elopements to full wedding weekends. I know how to move through the day so you can be present in it.

I film throughout Maui, from Wailea and Makena to Kapalua, Kaanapali, Olowalu, and beyond. Whether your wedding is at a large resort, private estate, or a smaller coastal venue, I’m happy to travel wherever your day takes you.

Maui has a little bit of every island. You get the lush landscapes and quieter corners of Kauai, the resorts and activities of the Big Island, the restaurants and time on the water you might look for on Oahu, and, if you want it, the privacy and slower pace you’d find on Lanai.

One of the best things about a Maui wedding is having time with your people beyond the wedding day. Sailboat trips, a luʻau, a group hike, a welcome party at your resort, or dinner at one of Maui’s great restaurants can turn the wedding into a full week of experiences together.

I’ve filmed at many of Maui’s resorts over the years, and each one gives a wedding a completely different feel.
The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua is one I especially enjoy because the property itself is beautifully designed, and having D.T. Fleming Beach and the Kapalua coastline nearby gives you some incredible options for portraits.
Hana-Maui Resort feels completely different. The lush landscape and slower pace make it feel like you’ve stepped into the jungle on the east side of the island.
In Wailea, the Andaz, Grand Wailea, and Four Seasons all have beautiful beachfront settings, while Hotel Wailea sits up on the hill with a completely different perspective. The ocean views from there make for a beautiful backdrop.
